Getting there and around

Safari vehicleAll our holidays necessitate a flight to get to the destination. Whilst we know the downside to flying, this is something we have to accept if we’re going to see the world. However we don’t accept it without doing anything about it. See our Responsible Travel section to read about our tree planting project.

Most of our holidays are offered with or without flights from the UK.  We provide a ‘from’ price for the international flights (inc taxes) which is based on the lowest fare at that time of year. However these are subject to availability, so if that fare is no longer possible, we will quote you for the next best fare we can get. You have the choice to take what we can get or arrange your own flights if you prefer.

Once you are in a country, we choose the most appropriate means of transport for the journey. Occasionally this will be a domestic flight, however we also make use of trains, boats and road transport. We do not use public buses. Yes, they can be a great way to meet people, it is a more eco-friendly alternative to private cars and it’s cheaper, but (a big ‘but’ in our view) in weighing this up with safety issues we decided not to go down this particular road.
