Down to Earth prices

We have planned and priced these holidays to offer excellent experiences and value for money.  This does not mean we’re the cheapest around, but we’re certainly not the most expensive either, especially when you consider what you get.

Comparing costs between travel companies is a tricky thing to do. We’ve all done it, but comparing like for like is almost impossible as all companies do things slightly differently.

We’re confident that the prices we charge are fair and good value for the services you’ll enjoy on our trips.  But how do we convince you of this?

Actually we probably won’t - you’ll make your own mind up!  So, we think the best thing to do is point out what we offer so when comparing us with others you know what to look for.

  • We include all airport transfers in country. (Don’t start your holiday by haggling!).
  • We financially protect you via our ATOL and AITO licences.
  • Genuinely good itineraries. Much better than those ‘bare bones’ itineraries where you get almost nothing included but your hotel and transport, then everything fun is extra.
  • We include most meals and national park fees where appropriate.
  • Our services are based on small numbers (often private services), so you’re not being herded around in coaches and you get a more personal experience and service.
  • We tend to use small charming places to stay rather than large ‘standard’ places.
  • We offer excellent back up in case of problems or emergencies.
  • Another seemingly boring point is that we do things right. We consider local laws in destinations, your health & safety, environmental implications of our business, and we run a financially strong and responsible independent company. We think all this matters.

All the above adds up of course, so bear this in mind if you shop around. And if you’re unsure, you can always ask us. We’ll tell you truthfully what we think - either pointing out the extra benefits we offer, or advising you that you’ve found yourself a good bargain!  

Yes, it does tend to surprise people on the rare occasion we advise they book elsewhere, but we’d honestly prefer to only take your booking if we think the holiday is right for you.
