On the afternoon of day 2 of the Cape Town and Winelands trip you can take a fascinating guided tour of one of the more colourful parts of Cape Town - the Cape Malay district. The Cape Malay people are originally from South-east Asia, and they retain elements from their traditional culture, such as their excellent, spicy cuisine. You'll see brightly-coloured houses, mosques, museums, arts and crafts stores, and generally get a great feel for this small, vibrant community.
