    Description

    This extension is designed to add to our Kenya itineraries. You would start this the following day so you will also need to add a night in Nairobi for the day your main trip finishes.

    This is a lovely friendly family-run boutique hotel in once acre of seafront property at Diani Beach, south of Mombasa. It has 5 rooms, each with king size beds, mozzy nets and good bathrooms. They all have air-con and ceiling fans. Some of the best food in Diani is found here, which you can enjoy in the dining room or on their terrace overlooking the ocean. The bar and restaurant is open to the public.

    There is a pool in front of the house, lovely gardens, and massages and other treatments can be arranged locally. There is a small local boat which can take you snorkelling, and other water sports are available at larger and nearby hotels.

    Detailed Itinerary

    1. Day 1: Fly from Nairobi to the coast. At the coastal airport you will be met and transferred to Asha Cottage.
    2. Day 2-4: Relaxing at your leisure. Activities such as snorkelling, boat trips and a wide range of watersports can be arranged locally.
    3. Day5: Time to go home. We'll take you back to the airport in time for your flight to Nairobi. Then it's off back home....unless you have other plans!

    Is it for you?

    This is for anyone who wants a bit of sea, sand and hopefully sun! This is a small hotel but there are plenty of activities and watersports available nearby.

    Best times to go

    The short rains come to Kenya in about November and December; the long rains are here from March to about May/early June. So the high seasons are from around July to October and January and February. This accommodation is closed in May and June.

    Flights to Mombasa from Nairobi are daily (generally booked in conjunction with your international flights).
