Jaipur is well known for its elephant rides, but instead of the touristy elephant rides at Amber Palce, why not try the Dera Amer safari. It's an exicitng way to explore the countryside around Jaipur, situated on a private estate in the green foothills behind Amber Fort, it enables visitors to get right away from the hustle and bustle. The safari ventures though villages, agricultural fields, hills, and ancient monuments. The birdlife in the thick forests is thriving and though panthers do inhabit the jungles it is very rare to see them. However, occasionally hyenas and wolves have been sighted by guests, and there are plenty of antelopes and jackals. The evening safari is magical, and you'll then be served a tasty meal to round off a perfect evening!
